Yesterday there was some motley pride shit on the mall, it is clear that it sucks and no one but democrats (who have to go, professional obligation) gives a rat's ass. My cab driver (maybe an immigrant himself) was pissed off as it blocked him from delivering me to the NGA where I was going. Even gays now despise the pride shit, which they feel has done them a disservice, casting them in one pot with the mentally ill, the perverts and the pedophiles.
I wonder how the democrats plan to win an election, since they cater to the Latinx (an audience of exactly nil voters, since there are maybe Latinos or Latinas but definitely not Latinx).
Even LA is pissed off by the violence and inaction of the democrats in LA now.
Newsome can abandon any hope for the White House, he will not get the nomination and would not win either.
The heavily unionised police forces across the country are now all republican (or rather, Trump) voters.
John, we welcome you back. The title of this discussion fully encapsulated the essence of what is happening. Thank you for this one. Sounds like your voice absolutely needs an overdue rest, feel better. And the dodo bird analogy, beautiful.
Thanks Dianne, its great to be back with the community: a lot to report this Thursday, as despite my flu/fever/fog a lot of things made more sense. yes, the earliest night imaginable tonight and i’ll be on the mend. Fondly, John
John, you’ve exceeded every expectation ever placed upon you and more without ever compromising your integrity!
I live in the area but rarely go back to Rocky River, not that I didn’t like growing up there, but I love my life so much better now.
It’s a much more integrated community, which is a good thing. A tad less conservative I would say, and the part of town where the bowling alley once stood is unrecognizable. Happy to report that Herbs Tavern is EXACTLY the same.
But I know somewhere in the back of someone’s closet there are Chino pants, button down shirts/blouses, monogrammed sweaters, Bermuda bags, Sperry Top Siders and Penny Loafers and a few Genesis albums in the collection.
In Washington DC right now.

They are politicizing issues that the country has moved on from and in the end hurting themselves.
National Gallery of Art or the other one that sounds like it should be in a Mission Impossible movie?

Take care friend and feel better!
Hi Terri,
You’ve guessed at the nature of my closet perfectly! Thanks, I’m on the mend. Fondly, John
I reckon Genesis - Land of confusion, sounds quite apt at the moment too!
Back it up a few years Kieran… it was still Abacab time.. and before
My favourite is invisible touch, but the live version with Chester on the drums. Just awesome.
Follow you, follow me
That’s our song, my husband and I
Absolute banger that one John. Home by the sea is also great, and I like driving the last spike too.
