John, thank you for being a revolutionary, for explaining the world warts and all and for making me feel welcome! I recently finished To Dare More Boldly. It took a great deal of effort. My copy has written notes, underlined concepts and vocabulary words I needed to learn. (my personal favorite: bumptious!). I approached it as a textbook, one which I will continue to study.
The Ten Commandments of Political Risk are also an excellent framework for how to live life.
As we approach the New Year, my husband Chris and I will practice our annual tradition of cooking dinner and watching a classic movie. I get to redeem myself for dozing off several years ago during a favorite movie of his, Lawrence of Arabia. In my defense, that year we started it far too late and I worked that day.
We decided to watch it again this year and I will approach it with a new appreciation!
